Ashlin Y. Lutes

Ashlin Y. Lutes advises clients in a wide variety of matters involving real estate transactions, land use regulations and environmental law. Ms. Lutes’ practice often involves assisting clients with project related transactional matters, including due diligence investigations, preparation of purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, CC&Rs and addressing title issues. Ms. Lutes also assists clients in working with local municipalities with regard to processing land use entitlements for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. She has experience with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), California water regulations, general plan and zoning compliance, Subdivision Map Act, state and federal environmental permitting, and the Endangered Species Act.

Before joining the Law Offices of Gregory D. Thatch, Ms. Lutes represented developers in Southern California by processing land use entitlements and obtaining federal regulatory approvals. During law school, Ms. Lutes interned with the U.S. Department of Justice in the Environmental and Natural Resources Division and the California Attorney General’s Office in the Natural Resources, Environmental and Land Use Section.

A native of San Diego, California, Ms. Lutes graduated from the University of California, San Diego. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from McGeorge School of Law in 2017 and is licensed to practice law in the state of California.
